Rihanna Tour 2016 – Anti Concerts are Starting Soon!

It’s almost time for one of the music world’s most notable performers to finally go back on the road! The Rihanna tour 2016 will be starting in San Diego California on February 26 at the Viejas Arena. She will be going all over the world on a quite long tour to help get support for her upcoming album ‘Anti’. Her concerts are going by the same name. The final North American show will be happening in the Oracle Arena in Oakland on May 7. You have about three months in order to catch this star live and in person. That’s plenty of time to hit up in Arena nearby your area and see this star perform live!

Once she is done going around North America she plans to have a two month-long series of shows in Europe. This means that those European Rihanna fans will also have quite a few chances to catch her live shows. You could even see more than one if you wanted to! It was certainly be money well spent, that’s for sure. She is going to have different opening acts for the different legs of her shows. During the European shows she is going to have Big Sean and the Weeknd opening up her sets. Throughout her North American concerts she will have Travis Scott accompanying her as her opener.

Tickets already went on sale earlier in the month. If you were lucky enough to be a member of Tidal, or have an American Express card you are able to get tickets earlier at the end of November before they went on sale to the general public. Her newest release is widely anticipated by fans and critics alike. If you look at the years from 2009 until 2012, she was releasing albums at a breakneck pace. But since her latest release, unapologetic, which came out in 2012, she has not put out a new album. Although she has put out a few singles like, American oxygen, and four five seconds, her newest album anti, is going to be her first full-length album in several years.

This has been an extremely long recording process when compared with the rest of her albums. That’s because Rihanna will not put out an album until it is truly done. She’s not going to rush and release half done songs. Lots of the songs that she really likes also span different genres, which makes it a bit tougher to put together a cohesive album that revolves around a similar theme. Fans were recently treated to a sneak preview of her album cover where she also revealed the title for her upcoming CD. This took place at her launch party in Los Angeles.
